What RMACI Does... Reproductive Medicine Administrative Consulting, Inc. (RMACI), exists to provide effective and reliable expertise in the important administrative functions that must be executed in order to operate a successful general Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) and OB/GYN subspecialty practices. Operating OB/GYN and OB/GYN subspecialty practices are different than operating any other type of medical practice. As a result, the resources generally available to assist in operating medical practices are either inadequate or not applicable to the practice of reproductive medicine.  RMACI fills that gap by providing a single resource for practices who may not have the needed knowledge base or who simply need someone from the outside to identify and recommend strategic action that will improve the operation of the practice. The cornerstone of RMACI's services is the “Add a Coding Expert to Your Team” service. For an annual fee of $729.00* (less than $2.00 per day) you receive the following… • Unlimited email questions/inquiries regarding billing and coding advice, with guaranteed 24 hour response time to your questions. • A pool of one hour of telephone calls/inquiries to discuss billing/coding issues.** • A discount of 20% off of our already very reasonable rates for any other services received during the course of the year. The advice that you will receive is top level advice from an expert ACOG Coding Workshop Faculty Member who has written and edited ACOG educational materials and has responded to email questions forwarded to the ACOG email inquiry service. In addition, RMACI also provides consulting service that is tailored to your specific needs. On-site services are provided for a flat daily rate, plus direct out-of-pocket expenses. Examples of on-site services that have been provided to past clients include: • Coding training services for providers and/or staff • Chart audits • Coding and reimbursement analysis • Accounts Receivable analysis and enhancement • Third party payer contract negotiation • Billing office structuring and workflow optimization Off-site consulting can also be contracted via a retainer and associated discounted rate, or provided for a flat hourly rate. Examples of services that can be provided remotely include: • Superbill (charge ticket) analysis and revision • Basic coding and reimbursement analysis • Off-site training via web conferencing • Creation of customized training videos, hosted on the practice's web site or at no charge on a private section of the RMACI web site. RMACI was started in 2005 by Brad Hart, MBA, MS, CMPE, CPC, COBGC. His education, background, and range of experience provide him the unique ability to provide highly effective consulting services with an intimate knowledge of the issues faced by OB/GYN administrators and billing managers.
